At GlamWright Medical Boutique in Uptown Phoenix, every injection is placed by Tasha Wright Ford, RN, a Master Injector with more than 22 years in nursing and more than 16 years injecting, alongside co-owner Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), our Medical Director. Neuromodulator (Botox and Dysport) relaxes the muscles that create expression lines, so it is used for the forehead, frown lines, and crow's feet. Hyaluronic acid filler adds volume and structure, so it is used for lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, and under-eyes. Many plans use a little of both, mapped to your face. At your consultation, your injector explains which approach fits your goals before anything starts.
Most people find injectables very tolerable. The products often contain a small amount of local anesthetic, and we can apply numbing cream for filler treatments to keep you comfortable. Your injector works at an unhurried pace and checks in with you throughout. If you are nervous, tell us and we will talk you through every step.
