Dysport

Dysport is a neurotoxin that softens the lines your face makes when it moves. It spreads a little more than Botox, which suits some foreheads better. At our Phoenix boutique that choice is made on assessment.

  • Placed by a Master Injector

What It Treats

What Dysport Treats

forehead lines treated with dysport in Phoenix

Forehead Lines

The forehead is a wide flat sheet of muscle, and Dysport spreads across it evenly. That behavior is why Tasha reaches for it on some foreheads. Placement still has to protect the brow position you already have.

Causes+

Lifting the brows is a habit that runs all day, and the skin creases along the same horizontal lines.

How Dysport Settles

What to expect, step by step

Treatment Day

Day 1

Injection points settle within the hour and you leave as you arrived. Dysport spreads a little more than Botox, which is why the placement was mapped the way it was, but there is nothing to see yet.

Early Change

Days 2-4

Dysport tends to show a touch earlier than Botox. Most patients notice the frown or forehead easing in movement first, with the line at rest following behind.

Full Result, Then Return

2 Weeks to 3-4 Months

Complete at around two weeks, when we review it. Movement returns gradually from there. Most patients treat every three to four months; how long yours holds depends on dose and on the muscle.

Chosen for the Area, Not for the Brand

Why Patients Choose Us

Chosen for the Area, Not for the Brand

Dysport spreads a little more readily than its siblings, which suits some areas and works against others. The product follows the assessment here, never the other way around.

Your plan is set by Tasha Wright Ford, RN, Master Injector, 22+ years in nursing and 16+ years injecting. Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), is our Medical Director and oversees the medical side of this work.

A broad forehead and a tight band between the brows do not behave the same way. We carry more than one neurotoxin so the choice can be made about your face, rather than about whatever happens to be stocked.

You hear what we would treat, what we would leave alone, and what it costs. If you came in asking for one product and another suits the area better, we say so before anything is drawn up.

Tasha is truly one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and her expertise in Botox is exceptional. I live in another state and still choose to wait to see her because she is that good. She is professional, knowledgeable, and always makes the experience comfortable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality care and amazing results.

The Appointment

What a Dysport Appointment Looks Like

The first appointment is mostly listening and measuring. We take your health history, read your face at rest and in motion, then choose the product that fits what we found.

Step 01 · History

We Take Your Health History

Every injectable plan here starts with a complete health history. Medications, prior neurotoxin treatments, autoimmune conditions and pregnancy all change what is appropriate. Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), is our Medical Director.

  • Medications and supplements
  • How you responded to previous neurotoxin
  • Health conditions that change the plan

FAQ

Dysport Questions,
Answered

The questions we hear most at our Uptown Phoenix boutique. Anything specific to your face is answered at your consultation.

Both relax the muscle underneath a line so the skin stops folding. Dysport spreads further from each placement point, which can suit a broad forehead. Botox stays more contained, which helps in small areas near the brow or eye. Tasha chooses between them on assessment.

It depends on the area treated, the dose placed, and how quickly your body clears the product. Muscle strength and how often you use the area both shift the answer. Rather than quote a number that may not be yours, Tasha gives you a realistic window at your consultation.

Not straight away. The muscle responds first and the skin above it follows, so the change reads gradually rather than at once. Some patients notice movement softening earlier than they expected. Tasha sets the expectation for your area before you book anything.

No. The two products are measured on different unit scales, so a Dysport number and a Botox number are not comparable. Comparing them like for like is how patients end up confused about dose. Tasha explains what she is placing and why, in plain terms.

Often, yes. Tasha reads your history with the previous product first, including dose, placement, and how the result held. A switch is worth trying when the pattern points that way. It is not worth trying just because the product is different.

The needle is fine and the placements are quick. Most patients describe a pinch and a brief sting, and then it is done. Tasha works in small increments and checks in as she goes. You can drive yourself home afterwards.

Heat, hard exercise, and rubbing the area are the usual three. In Phoenix that means thinking about the pool, the sauna, and the drive home in an afternoon car. Your written aftercare covers posture and timing, and questions afterwards go to 602-469-8693.

Yes. We are at 707 E Palo Verde Dr, Ste A, Phoenix, AZ 85014, in Uptown Phoenix, and much of the valley is a short drive away. the wider valley patients come to us as well. Call 602-469-8693 to book a consultation.
