Botox / Neurotoxins

Botox softens the lines your face makes when it moves. At our Phoenix boutique, Tasha Wright Ford, RN reads how your muscles work before she places a single unit. You get a plan built on assessment, not a menu.

  • Placed by a Master Injector
  • Full health history before any treatment
  • Facial assessment maps every placement
  • No pressure and no upselling

What It Treats

What Botox Treats

frown lines between the brows treated with botox / neurotoxins in Phoenix

Frown Lines Between the Brows

The vertical lines between your brows deepen every time you concentrate. Botox softens the muscles that pull them together. Tasha measures how hard those muscles work before she decides on placement.

Causes+

Frowning, squinting in Phoenix sun, and years of expression fold the skin along the same line until it stays there at rest.

How Botox Settles

Treatment Day

Day 1

Small raised bumps at each injection point settle within an hour. You go back to your day. Nothing has changed in the mirror yet, and it is not supposed to have.

Early Change

Days 3-5

Most patients notice the first softening here. Movement reduces before the line at rest does, so the area reads calmer in expression before it reads smoother at rest.

Full Result, Then Return

2 Weeks to 3-4 Months

The result completes around two weeks, which is when we review it. Movement then returns gradually. Most patients treat every three to four months, though that varies with dose and with the muscle.

The Muscle Sets the Dose, Not the Vial

Why Patients Choose Us

The Muscle Sets the Dose, Not the Vial

Two people with the same line across the forehead rarely need the same units in the same places. We watch how your face actually moves before anything is drawn up.

Tasha owns GlamWright Medical Boutique and brings 22+ years in nursing and 16+ years injecting. She maps your face at rest and in motion, because a line that only appears when you speak is a different problem from one that has settled in.

We dose conservatively on a first visit and check you at two weeks. Adding a little is straightforward. Waiting out a brow that has dropped because somebody was heavy-handed takes months, so we would rather start light.

We see patients at 707 E Palo Verde Dr, Ste A, Phoenix, AZ 85014, in Uptown Phoenix. Call 602-469-8693 and we will find a time. Patients drive in from across the valley for their neurotoxin appointments.

The Appointment

What a Botox Appointment Looks Like

The first appointment is mostly listening and measuring. We work through your health history, then read your face while you talk and while you rest. Placement follows what the assessment finds.

Step 01 · History

We Take Your Health History

Every injectable plan here starts with a complete health history. Medications, prior treatments, autoimmune conditions and pregnancy all change what is appropriate. Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), is our Medical Director.

FAQ

Botox Questions,
Answered

The questions we hear most at our Uptown Phoenix boutique. Anything specific to your face is answered at your consultation.

Botox relaxes the muscle underneath a line so the skin above it stops folding in the same place. It works on lines you make when you move, not on volume loss or texture. Tasha assesses which of those you are dealing with before she recommends anything.

That is the point of the assessment. Tasha places to the muscles that create the line and leaves the ones that carry your expression. If a face cannot move at all, the placement was wrong. We would rather place less and review it with you than overshoot.

Botox is not immediate. Movement softens as the muscle responds, and the result keeps settling after that. How long that takes depends on the area, the dose, and how your muscles behave. Tasha gives you that window at your consultation rather than a number off a chart.

Direct sun is worth avoiding straight after treatment, and in Phoenix that takes planning. Heat and sun raise flushing and can make bruising more obvious while it settles. Cover up, stay in shade, and hold off on the pool deck. Your written aftercare sets out how long.

Neurotoxin placed in the trapezius softens the muscle that lifts your shoulders. Patients ask for it to ease tension and to lengthen the neckline. Whether it suits you depends on muscle bulk, posture, and your health history. Tasha assesses all three before she agrees to place it.

We place Botox and Dysport. Both are neurotoxins, and they behave a little differently in how they spread across an area. Tasha chooses between them on assessment, not on preference. If Dysport suits your forehead better, she tells you that and explains why.

Units follow your anatomy, not a package. Muscle strength, the depth of the line, and how you have responded before all change the number. Tasha measures at the consultation and gives you the plan and the cost before anything is opened.

We are at 707 E Palo Verde Dr, Ste A, Phoenix, AZ 85014, in Uptown Phoenix. Patients also travel in from across the valley for their neurotoxin appointments. Call 602-469-8693 to book a consultation, or use our booking page and we will confirm a time with you.
