PRP and PRF

PRP and PRF are made from a small draw of your own blood, spun to concentrate the platelets that carry your growth factors, then placed where the skin needs help repairing itself. Nothing synthetic is added. At our Phoenix boutique the draw, the spin and the placement all happen in one visit.

  • Made from your own blood, in-clinic
  • PRP or PRF chosen on assessment
  • Full health history before any treatment
  • Serving Uptown Phoenix and the wider valley

What It Treats

What PRP and PRF Treat

under-eye hollows and dark circles treated with prp and prf in Phoenix

Under-Eye Hollows and Dark Circles

The skin under the eye is the thinnest on the face, and filler is not always the right answer there. PRF placed in the tear trough asks your own tissue to thicken and improve over a series of visits. Tasha assesses whether the hollow is volume, skin quality, or both before recommending it.

Causes+

Thin skin, less fat under it, and the shadow that forms where the cheek has dropped away from the lower lid.

How PRP and PRF Work

What to expect, step by step

Treatment Day

Day 1

Your own blood is drawn, spun in the room and placed back. Expect redness and some swelling for a day or two, and nothing else to look at yet.

Repair Begins

Weeks 2-4

Growth factors do their work under the surface. Most patients notice texture and tone improving gradually through this window rather than on any single day. A second session usually sits here.

Building Over a Course

Months 3-6

PRP and PRF are usually run as a short series, and the change compounds session to session. The full result reads a few months after the last one. Nothing synthetic is involved, so it holds as long as your own tissue does.

Drawn, Spun and Used in the Same Room

Why Patients Choose Us

Drawn, Spun and Used in the Same Room

PRP and PRF come from your own blood. Nothing is bought in, nothing is added, and the whole process happens in front of you between the draw and the treatment.

Your plan is set by Tasha Wright Ford, RN, Master Injector, 22+ years in nursing and 16+ years injecting. The blood draw is done by a nurse with 22+ years of doing exactly that, which is not true everywhere this treatment is offered.

We draw, spin and prepare it here, and it goes back into you the same visit. Because it is yours, the questions we ask beforehand are about your health and your medications rather than about allergies to a product.

Results from your own platelets vary with your own biology, and they build over a course rather than arriving at once. We will tell you what we typically see and we will not point at somebody else's photographs as though they were yours.

Tasha is truly one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and her expertise in Botox is exceptional. I live in another state and still choose to wait to see her because she is that good. She is professional, knowledgeable, and always makes the experience comfortable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality care and amazing results.

The Appointment

What a PRP or PRF Appointment Looks Like

The whole thing happens in one room, in one visit: a small draw, a spin, and placement. It takes longer than an injectable appointment because the preparation is done in front of you.

Step 01 · History

We Take Your Health History

Every plan here starts with a complete health history. Medications, bleeding disorders, blood conditions, active infection and pregnancy all change what is appropriate. Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), is our Medical Director.

  • Medications and supplements, especially blood thinners
  • Recent illness or infection
  • Health conditions that change the plan

FAQ

PRP and PRF Questions,
Answered

The questions we hear most at our Uptown Phoenix boutique. Anything specific to your face is answered at your consultation.

Both come from your own blood. PRP, platelet-rich plasma, is spun with an anticoagulant and stays liquid, which suits pairing with microneedling and placing into the scalp. PRF, platelet-rich fibrin, is spun without one, so it forms a soft fibrin matrix that releases growth factors more slowly. PRF is usually what Tasha reaches for under the eyes.

No. Neither adds volume the way a hyaluronic acid filler does. They ask your own tissue to improve over time. If your concern is a true volume loss, Tasha will tell you, and filler may be the better tool.

Usually a series, spaced weeks apart, because the change comes from your own tissue responding rather than from a product sitting in place. How many depends on the area and your starting point. Tasha sets a realistic plan at your consultation and reassesses between visits.

Gradually. Swelling settles in the first days, and the improvement in skin quality builds over the weeks that follow as collagen responds. Under-eyes in particular reward patience across a series.

The draw feels like a lab test. Placement is done with numbing where the area calls for it, and most patients describe pressure and a brief sting. Under-eye placement is delicate and unhurried. You can drive yourself home.

Expect some swelling and possible bruising for a few days, more so under the eyes. Your written aftercare covers cold compresses, sun, exercise and makeup timing. Most patients book with a quiet couple of days in mind.

PRP and PRF use your own blood, so there is nothing foreign to react to. The risks are the usual ones for any injection: bruising, swelling, and rarely infection, which is why the health history and the sterile preparation matter. Tasha reviews your medications and history before anything is drawn.
