What to expect, step by step
Day 1
Injection points settle within the hour. Daxxify is built on a peptide rather than the protein the older products use; that changes how long it holds, not what today feels like.
Days 2-7
The area eases in movement first, then at rest. For most patients this window looks the same as it would with Botox or Dysport.
2 Weeks to 6 Months
Complete at around two weeks. This is where Daxxify differs: in its studies the median hold was around six months, roughly twice the older products. Yours may be shorter or longer, and we say which at review.

Metabolism, muscle strength and how much you use the area all move the number. We tell you the range we actually see in the chair rather than the headline figure, so you can decide whether the longer interval is worth it to you.
If your current neurotoxin is working well for you, staying on it is a perfectly good answer and we will tell you that. Nobody is switched to a newer product because it is newer.

Daxxify is a neurotoxin, the same family of product as Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau. It relaxes the muscle underneath a line so the skin above it stops folding. It is formulated with a peptide instead of the human protein the older products use, and its approval is for the frown lines between the brows.
For many patients it holds longer than the other neurotoxins, which is the main reason to consider it. How much longer is individual: the area treated, the dose, and how quickly your body clears the product all play in. Tasha gives you a realistic window for your face at your consultation rather than a headline number.
Not straight away. The muscle responds first and the skin above it follows, so the change reads gradually rather than at once. Tasha sets the expectation for your area before you book anything.
No. If you are new to neurotoxin, a product that holds for a long time also means living with the result for a long time if you decide you wanted less. Tasha will often suggest a first visit with a shorter-holding product, then move you to Daxxify once you know what you like.
Often, yes. Tasha reads your history with the previous product first, including dose, placement, and how long the result held. A switch is worth trying when the pattern points that way.
The needle is fine and the placements are quick. Most patients describe a pinch and a brief sting, and then it is done. Tasha works in small increments and checks in as she goes. You can drive yourself home afterwards.
