What to expect, step by step
Day 1
The smoothness is immediate. Surface cells and the fine facial hair are gone, and makeup sits differently tonight. Some pinkness is normal for a few hours.
Days 1-3
Skin is at its clearest and takes product noticeably better, which is why serums are applied on the table.
Weeks 3-4
Fine hair grows back at the same texture it had before — it does not come back thicker. Most patients book monthly, in step with skin turnover.

A sterile single use blade is drawn across clean, dry skin at a set angle. It lifts away the layer of dead surface cells along with the fine hair that sits on the cheek and jaw. Nothing is injected and no energy is used. It is manual work, done by hand.
No. The blade cuts the hair at the surface, which changes nothing about the follicle underneath. It returns at the same texture and the same color it always was. The idea that it grows back coarser is the single most common thing patients arrive worried about.
It softens how shallow surface lines read by clearing the layer sitting over them. It does not reach a line created by muscle movement, and it does not add volume. Tasha Wright Ford, RN tells you which kind of line you are looking at. She routes you properly when the blade is not the answer.
Most people describe a light scraping pressure and nothing sharp. There is no numbing needed and nothing to recover from afterward. Kelly works in short strokes and checks in as she goes. If any area feels wrong, you say so and she stops.
Active acne, open or broken skin, and some inflammatory conditions all rule it out. Certain prescription skin treatments do as well, which is why we take a health history first. Kelly will move your appointment rather than run a blade over skin that is not ready for it.
There is no shedding phase, so this sits closer to a date than a peel or a laser does. Even so, we would rather leave room for pinkness to settle. Tell Kelly the date at your consultation and she will set the timing for your skin.
