What to expect, step by step
Day 1
Swelling under the chin is expected and can be noticeable for the first several days. That is the treatment working, and it is the part to plan around.
Weeks 2-4
The swelling settles and the area starts to read smaller than it did before treatment. Treated fat cells do not return.
Weeks 6-12, per session
Most patients need two to four sessions, roughly six weeks apart, and the full result reads a couple of months after the last. Because the treated cells are gone, the result holds.

Kybella is planned across sessions rather than as a single appointment. How many depends on the size of the pocket and how you respond to the first one. We will not quote a number before we have assessed your neck, and you get the plan with the price at your consultation.
Swelling under the chin is expected and it is the part patients underestimate most. Some numbness and firmness in the area is also normal while it settles. How pronounced it is varies, so we give you that window at your consultation and tell you what would warrant a call.
The fat cells treated are broken down and cleared, so those particular cells do not come back. That is not the same as a promise about your profile, because weight change and skin quality both keep moving. Tasha tells you what she expects for your neck before anything is booked.
They are different routes to a similar area. Liposuction is a surgical procedure with anesthetic and a recovery attached. Kybella is placed in an appointment and works over weeks. We are a non-surgical boutique, so if your assessment points to surgery, Tasha says so and tells you what to ask a surgeon.
