Plasma Pen Therapy

Most people arrive having studied plasma pen before and after photos for weeks. Those are other people's skin. Plasma pen therapy places tiny controlled points on the surface, and your skin repairs around them. Tasha Wright Ford, RN assesses whether yours is a fit.

  • A controlled arc, applied point by point
  • Assessment before any device touches skin
  • No outcome promised in advance
  • Plan and price before you commit

What Plasma Pen Addresses

Where Plasma Pen Earns Its Place

fine lines around the eyes treated with plasma pen therapy in Phoenix

Fine Lines Around the Eyes

The skin here is the thinnest on the face, so it creases early and shows change quickly. It is also the least forgiving area to treat.

Treatments+

Points are placed across the area and the skin repairs around each one. This area is assessed carefully, because thin skin responds differently from the rest of the face.

Causes+

Thin skin, constant expression, and years of sun all fold the same lines into place.

How Plasma Pen Works

What to expect, step by step

Tap to flip

Treatment Day

Day 1

Tiny carbon dots sit where each point was placed, with swelling around the eyes if that was the area. This is the part the before-and-after photos leave out.

Tap to flip

Dots Fall

Days 5-10

The dots crust and fall away on their own. Do not pick them. The skin underneath is pink and new.

Tightening Builds

Weeks 4-12

The pink settles and the skin contracts gradually as collagen remodels. Most patients see the full result two to three months after treatment, and some areas want a second session.

The Honest Version of This Treatment

Why Patients Choose Us

The Honest Version of This Treatment

Plasma pen therapy is marketed harder than almost anything in aesthetics. We would rather tell you what it asks of you and let you decide. Nothing gets added while you are in the chair.

Your plan is set by Tasha Wright Ford, RN, Master Injector, 22+ years in nursing and 16+ years injecting. Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), is our Medical Director. Kelly, our aesthetician of 17+ years, works alongside them.

Every plan follows a full health history and a facial assessment. Both happen before a device touches your skin. Skin tone and scarring history carry real weight with this treatment, which is why the read comes first.

We will not promise you a result, and we will not point at somebody else's photographs as though they were yours. You hear what Tasha expects for your skin, what she does not, and what it costs, before anything is booked.

Good Questions

Your Plasma Pen Questions,
Answered

The things patients ask before a first session. If yours is not here, call 602-469-8693 and ask.

A handheld device creates a small arc of ionised gas just above the skin. That arc makes a controlled point on the surface without the tip touching you. Points are placed in a pattern, and the skin repairs around each one. It is a small-area treatment rather than something run across a whole face.

They describe the same modality. Plasma fibroblast is the term borrowed from the cells the repair response involves. Plasma pen refers to the device that delivers it. If you have searched for either term, you have been reading about the same treatment we describe on this page.

They tell you what happened to that person's skin, on that area, under that lighting. They are useful as illustration and misleading as a forecast. Your skin type, the area treated, how you heal, and how carefully you follow aftercare all change the outcome. We will not hand you someone else's photograph as a promise.

It suits small, defined areas rather than broad ones. That is why it comes up for fine lines around the eyes and mouth. Crepey texture and localised loose skin are the other two. Anything larger is usually better served by microneedling, energy, or a resurfacing laser. Tasha Wright Ford, RN will tell you which category your concern falls into.

Topical numbing goes on first and we wait for it to take effect before starting. Most people describe heat and a sharp tap at each point rather than a continuous sensation. We check in as we go and stop whenever you ask. Some areas, particularly around the eyes, read stronger than others.

Candidacy here is narrower than for most treatments. Skin tone matters, because deeper tones carry a higher risk of a pigment change afterward. A history of keloid or poor healing rules it out for some people. We take a full health history and assess your skin before booking, and we say no when the answer is no.

Some areas settle after one session and others are planned as more than one. We will not quote a count before we have seen your skin. That number is part of the plan rather than a menu item. You get it at your consultation, along with the price.
