Facial Balancing

Facial balancing treats proportion rather than one feature. Tasha Wright Ford, RN maps how your chin, cheeks, lips and jaw relate to each other before anything is placed. The plan then follows the face you have, in the order that makes sense.

  • The whole face assessed, not one area
  • Placement mapped before a syringe is opened
  • Staged over visits when that suits your face
  • No pressure and no upselling

What Facial Balancing Addresses

Proportion, Not One Feature

a chin that reads short treated with facial balancing in Phoenix

A Chin That Reads Short

Seen from the side, the chin sets how the whole lower face reads. When it sits back, the lips and the neck both look different than they are.

Treatments+

Tasha assesses your profile as well as your front view, then decides whether projection belongs in the plan and how much of it. Small quantities move a profile further than most patients expect.

Causes+

Chin projection is mostly inherited, and it changes again as bone and soft tissue rearrange with age.

How Balancing Settles

What to expect, step by step

Tap to flip

Treatment Day

Day 1

Several areas may be treated in one sitting, so there is swelling in several places. The proportions are placed today; they are not readable today.

Tap to flip

Settling

Weeks 2-4

Swelling clears area by area and the relationships between chin, cheeks, lips and jaw start to read as intended. We review at two weeks and sometimes stage a second placement here rather than doing everything at once.

Tap to flip

Holding, Then Softening

Months 6-18

Each area softens on its own timetable, so balancing is usually maintained in stages rather than all at once. Tasha tells you which area will want attention first.

The Assessment Is the Treatment

Why Patients Choose Us

The Assessment Is the Treatment

Facial balancing is a phrase that gets used to sell more syringes. Here it means the opposite: a map that often removes areas from the plan rather than adding them.

Your plan is set by Tasha Wright Ford, RN, Master Injector, 22+ years in nursing and 16+ years injecting. Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), is our Medical Director. Kelly, our aesthetician of 17+ years, works alongside them.

Every injection follows a full health history and a facial assessment. Both happen before a needle is opened. That is how Tasha decides where the volume actually belongs, and where it does not.

You hear what we would do, what we would not, and what it costs. Nothing gets added while you are in the chair, and booking the next stage is your call rather than a push from us.

Tasha is truly one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and her expertise in Botox is exceptional. I live in another state and still choose to wait to see her because she is that good. She is professional, knowledgeable, and always makes the experience comfortable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality care and amazing results.

The Appointment

How a Facial Balancing Consultation Runs

Four steps, in order. The first appointment is mostly listening and measuring, and you are never treated on the same visit unless the plan and the price are settled first.

Step 01 · History

We Take Your Health History

Every injectable plan here starts with a complete health history. Medications, prior filler, autoimmune conditions and pregnancy all change what is appropriate. Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), is our Medical Director.

  • Medications and supplements
  • Every prior injectable treatment, wherever it was placed
  • Health conditions that change the plan

FAQ

Facial Balancing Questions,
Answered

The questions we hear most at our Uptown Phoenix boutique. Anything specific to your face is answered at your consultation.

Facial balancing is treating the face as a set of proportions rather than a list of areas. Chin, cheeks, jaw, lips and brow all affect how each other read. Tasha assesses the relationships first, then treats the area that supports the rest.

No. Filler is one tool in it. A balancing plan can use dermal filler for support, a neuromodulator to settle a muscle that pulls, or a collagen stimulator over a series. Sometimes the honest answer is skin treatment rather than injectables at all.

It follows the plan, and the plan follows your face. The number of areas, the products chosen, and whether it runs in stages all change the figure. Tasha gives you the whole plan and the price at your consultation, before anything is booked.

More than one, in most cases. Support is treated first and then reviewed once it settles, because filler keeps changing shape for weeks after placement. Some plans finish at the first stage, and Tasha will tell you when yours has.

Not if the map is right. Overdone faces usually come from treating one area repeatedly rather than reading the whole. Tasha places conservatively, reviews the result with you, and would rather add later than correct something that went too far.

It can soften what you notice. Every face is asymmetric, and chasing a perfect match is how faces start to look treated. Tasha maps both sides at rest and in movement, then treats the differences that actually show.

That depends on your anatomy, your health history, and what has already been placed. Some patients are better served by one targeted treatment than a full plan. We say so at the assessment rather than sell you a plan you do not need.

Yes, and without judgment. Bring what you know, including products and dates if you have them. Existing filler changes what can be added and where, so Tasha assesses what is in the tissue now before she plans anything new.

Regularly. The proportions differ, so the plan does too. Jaw and chin definition are the usual reasons men book it, and the same rule applies: the assessment decides the plan, and nothing is added in the chair.
