Bellafill

Bellafill is the longer-term option on our injectable menu. Microspheres suspended in collagen stay in place rather than being absorbed, so the support they give holds. Patients across Uptown Phoenix and the wider valley ask about it when they are tired of repeating the same treatment.

  • Microspheres that are not absorbed
  • Skin test required before treatment
  • Placed by a Master Injector
  • Full health history at the first visit

What It Treats

What Bellafill Is Built For

nasolabial folds treated with bellafill in Phoenix

Nasolabial Folds

The folds running from nose to mouth are the area Bellafill was designed around. The collagen carries the correction while the microspheres settle in as a lasting scaffold. Tasha assesses the midface first, because the fold often starts higher up.

Causes+

Descending midface volume presses down on the fold, so the crease deepens even when the skin itself is sound.

How Bellafill Settles

What to expect, step by step

Tap to flip

Treatment Day

Day 1

The collagen carrier gives volume immediately, with the usual swelling. Bellafill requires a skin test in advance, which is why your first visit was not the treatment.

Tap to flip

Carrier Absorbs, Support Builds

Weeks 1-4

The collagen carrier is absorbed over the first month while your own tissue grows around the microspheres, which are not absorbed. The result settles into its long-term form here.

Holding

Months 12 to 5 Years

The microspheres stay, so the support they give holds. In its studies Bellafill was still performing at five years in the nasolabial folds. It is the longest-lasting option on our injectable menu.

The Skin Test Comes First

Why Patients Choose Us

The Skin Test Comes First

Bellafill is designed to last for years, and it contains bovine collagen. Both facts mean the first appointment is a test and a conversation, not a treatment.

Tasha owns GlamWright Medical Boutique and brings 22+ years in nursing and 16+ years injecting. A long-lasting product placed by an unpractised hand is a long-lasting problem, which is why this one is hers.

The skin test is done first and read after a waiting period, before any treatment is booked. If it is not clear, you do not get the product, and we will talk through what else could suit the same concern.

We see patients at 707 E Palo Verde Dr, Ste A, Phoenix, AZ 85014, in Uptown Phoenix. Call 602-469-8693 and we will find a time. Both the test visit and the treatment happen here, with the same injector for each.

Tasha is truly one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and her expertise in Botox is exceptional. I live in another state and still choose to wait to see her because she is that good. She is professional, knowledgeable, and always makes the experience comfortable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality care and amazing results.

The Appointment

What Bellafill Treatment Involves

Bellafill runs across more than one appointment. The first is a health history, an assessment and a skin test. Placement is only booked once that test has been read and the plan is agreed.

Step 01 · History

We Take Your Health History

Every injectable plan starts with a complete health history. Allergies, autoimmune conditions, a history of keloid scarring, medications, blood thinners and pregnancy all change what is appropriate. Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), is our Medical Director.

  • Allergy history, including bovine collagen
  • Autoimmune conditions and scarring history
  • Medications, supplements and blood thinners

FAQ

Bellafill Questions,
Answered

The questions we hear most from our Uptown Phoenix and the wider valley patients. Anything specific to your face is answered at your consultation.

Polymethylmethacrylate microspheres suspended in a collagen gel. The gel carries the correction on the day and is then absorbed. The microspheres are not absorbed, and your own tissue builds around them. That combination is what separates Bellafill from a hyaluronic acid filler.

Longer than hyaluronic acid filler, because the microspheres are not broken down the way a gel is. How long that reads on your face depends on the area, the depth, and how much support was rebuilt around them. Tasha gives you a realistic expectation at your consultation rather than a headline number.

The collagen holding the microspheres comes from a bovine source, and a small number of people react to it. The test is placed in your forearm and read before any treatment is booked. If it is not clear, the answer is no and we recommend something else.

No. There is no enzyme that reverses it the way hyaluronidase reverses hyaluronic acid filler. That is the single most important thing to understand before agreeing to it. It is also why Tasha places conservatively and reviews rather than committing an area in one appointment.

It is used for rolling scars on the cheek, where the skin has lost the support underneath and sits tethered below the surface. Ice pick and boxcar scars behave differently and usually need another approach. Tasha assesses which types you actually have before recommending anything.

Anyone whose skin test is not clear. Certain autoimmune conditions, a history of keloid scarring, active infection in the area and pregnancy also rule it out. Patients who are new to injectables are often better served starting with a reversible product. Tasha works through all of this at the health history.

Hyaluronic acid is a gel your body clears over time, and it can be dissolved on demand. Bellafill leaves microspheres behind that stay. One is adjustable and temporary, the other is durable and cannot be reversed. Tasha explains which trade-off suits your face and your plans.

Yes. We are at 707 E Palo Verde Dr, Ste A, Phoenix, AZ 85014, in Uptown Phoenix, and much of the valley is a short drive away. The skin test and the placement are separate visits, so we plan them around your schedule. Call 602-469-8693 to book a consultation.
