What This Page Covers

The Four Marks We Address Here

spider veins treated with skin irregularity removal in Phoenix

Spider Veins

Fine threads of red or purple that branch across the surface and catch the light. They arrive quietly and rarely leave on their own.

Treatments+

The vessel is treated so it closes and clears over time. Where the vein sits, how large it is, and how deep it runs all matter. Some we treat here, and some we refer to a vein specialist.

Causes+

Pressure, heat, sun, hormones, and heredity all push small vessels near the surface to dilate and stay that way.

Treatment Day

Day 1

Treated vessels darken or fade immediately; treated lesions may crust. The area is pink. Different marks heal on slightly different timetables.

Marks Clear

Days 3-14

Vessels are reabsorbed and crusts fall away on their own. Do not pick. The pink around each site settles through the second week.

Weeks 2-6

Skin evens out to match its surroundings. Some marks, particularly larger vessels, want a second session; we tell you which at follow-up.

A Narrow Scope, Held Honestly

Why Patients Choose Us

A Narrow Scope, Held Honestly

Plenty of places will remove almost anything you point at. We treat four things here and refer the rest. Knowing what a mark is matters more than being able to remove it.

Your plan is set by Tasha Wright Ford, RN, Master Injector, 22+ years in nursing and 16+ years injecting. Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), is our Medical Director and oversees the medical side of this work.

Every plan follows a full health history and an assessment of each mark individually. Both happen before anything is treated. Your skin tone and your scarring history change how a mark is approached, and sometimes whether it is approached at all.

Anything that has changed and anything that bleeds goes to a medical evaluation. So does anything we cannot confidently identify. We would rather send you across town than take a booking we should not have taken.

Good Questions

Your Removal Questions,
Answered

The things patients ask before booking a removal. If yours is not here, call 602-469-8693 and ask.

Four things: spider veins, cherry angiomas, actinic keratosis, and pigmented lesions. That is the whole scope of this page. If your mark is not one of those four, we will tell you at consultation. We refer you rather than find a way to treat it. Raised surface blemishes are handled on our blemish removal page instead.

They are small vessels sitting close to the surface that have dilated and stayed open, branching in fine red or purple threads. Treatment closes the vessel so it clears over time. Where the vein sits, how large it is, and how deep it runs all matter. Some we treat here, and some we refer to a vein specialist.

It is a rough, scaly patch that forms after years of ultraviolet exposure. The face, scalp, ears, and hands are the usual sites. It is a medical finding rather than a cosmetic one, which is why it is assessed under the oversight of Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD). Anything suspicious is referred for evaluation before anything else happens.

A small, bright red point that sits slightly raised, most often on the trunk, chest, or arms. It is a benign cluster of tiny vessels, largely down to heredity and age rather than sun. They tend to multiply over time, so treating today's does not stop new ones appearing later, and we say so.

On this page it means a distinct flat brown mark with a defined edge. It sits on its own rather than as part of a broad patch. Broad uneven tone is a different problem, handled by IPL or by a peel across the whole area. Tasha Wright Ford, RN will tell you which one your skin actually has.

Numbing is used where it is needed and we wait for it to take effect. Most people describe a brief sharp sensation at each mark rather than sustained discomfort, and each one takes only a moment. We check in as we go and stop whenever you ask us to.

Then we do not treat it, and we tell you that at consultation rather than after you have paid. Anything that has changed shape, color, or size belongs in a medical evaluation. So does anything that bleeds, and anything we cannot confidently identify. You are welcome back once that has been settled properly.
