What UltraGlo Addresses

Where LaseMD Ultra Earns Its Place

uneven texture treated with lasemd ultra in Phoenix

Uneven Texture

Skin that photographs fine but does not feel smooth under your hand. Texture is often the first thing people notice and the last thing they name.

Treatments+

We run LaseMD Ultra at a depth matched to your texture, and the surface of your skin stays intact. Tasha Wright Ford, RN decides whether one pass or a series fits.

Causes+

Sun in Phoenix, time, and the slow drop in collagen leave the surface less even than it once was.

How LaseMD Ultra Works

What to expect, step by step

Tap to flip

Treatment Day

Day 1

Skin reads warm and flushed, much like sun exposure. Depth decides how strong that is, and you are told which depth you are having before we start.

Tap to flip

Turnover

Days 2-5

Skin feels dry and sandy and may flake lightly. This is the treated layer clearing. It is the part to plan around if you have something in the calendar.

Tap to flip

New Surface

2 Weeks to 3 Months

Texture and tone keep improving as collagen remodels, which is a months-long process rather than a days-long one. Pigment usually needs a course; Tasha tells you how many at the assessment.

The Judgment-Free Space Behind the Laser

Why Patients Choose Us

The Judgment-Free Space Behind the Laser

You are treated by people who assess before they reach for a device. We are plain about what a laser can do, and what it cannot. Nothing gets added while you are in the chair.

Your plan is set by Tasha Wright Ford, RN, Master Injector, 22+ years in nursing and 16+ years injecting. Dr. Anna Mkrtchyan, Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD), is our Medical Director. Kelly, our aesthetician of 17+ years, works alongside them.

Every plan follows a full health history and a facial assessment. Both happen before a laser is switched on. That is how we decide whether LaseMD Ultra belongs in your plan at all. Sometimes a peel or IPL suits your skin better.

You hear what we would do, what we would not, and what it costs. Nothing gets added while you are in the chair. If your skin is not ready for resurfacing, we say so and tell you what to do instead.

Tasha is truly one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and her expertise in Botox is exceptional. I live in another state and still choose to wait to see her because she is that good. She is professional, knowledgeable, and always makes the experience comfortable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality care and amazing results.

Good Questions

Your LaseMD Ultra Questions,
Answered

The things patients ask before a first resurfacing session. If yours is not here, call 602-469-8693 and ask.

LaseMD Ultra is a non-ablative thulium laser, and UltraGlo is what we call it at GlamWright Medical Boutique. Non-ablative means the laser works under the surface while the surface itself stays intact. Tasha Wright Ford, RN sets the depth after she assesses your skin. The same platform can run gently or deeper, depending on what she finds.

LaseMD Ultra is non-ablative, so the surface of your skin stays intact. Expect some redness and warmth afterward. How long depends on the depth we choose and how your skin behaves. We give you that window at your consultation, along with written aftercare and a number to call.

No. CO2 lasers are ablative, which means they remove the surface layer of skin. LaseMD Ultra is non-ablative and works underneath instead. We do not run a CO2 laser at our Phoenix boutique, and we say so plainly rather than blur the difference. If your concern genuinely needs an ablative laser, Tasha Wright Ford, RN will tell you. She will point you toward someone who has one.

They are different tools. Pico lasers fire in very short pulses and are usually chosen for pigment and tattoo work. LaseMD Ultra is a thulium laser aimed at texture, tone, and surface quality. We run LaseMD Ultra and do not own a pico platform. At your consultation Tasha tells you which category your concern falls into, even when the answer sends you elsewhere.

Texture, sun damage, dark spots, fine lines, and the unevenness that builds under the Phoenix sun. It is also used conservatively on melasma, where a heavy setting can make things worse. Tasha assesses your skin first and will say if a peel, IPL, or microneedling suits your concern better than resurfacing.

That depends on your skin type, your recent sun exposure, your medications, and what you want changed. Every plan here follows a full health history and a facial assessment, and both happen before a laser is switched on. Some people are better served by a peel, or by waiting until after summer. We tell you which, and why.

Some faces need one pass. Some need a series, and a few need something else entirely. We will not quote a session count before we have seen your skin. That number is part of the plan rather than a menu item. You get it at your consultation, along with the price.

Call 602-469-8693 or use our contact page to request an appointment. We are at 707 E Palo Verde Dr, Ste A, Phoenix, AZ 85014. That is Uptown Phoenix, and we see patients from across the valley. Your first visit is an assessment, and you leave with a plan and a price before anything is booked.
